Subject: RE: reducing livestock methane

I read about that recently. I also read there is not enough of this seaweed in the oceans today to meet current demand, if this were to be implemented.  So, unless someone starts to "farm" this seaweed, it can't be implemented on a commercial scale.  And I wonder.... if it is "farmed" commercially, will it upset the ecosystem in another way?

To me, the next step in the research needs to be to find out what in the seaweed reduces the methane gas. And then you can look at the concept - can this be replicated in another way?
