WC Mn/Dakotas | Raw data from a monitor should never be used for any type of analysis. EVER! Noisey/bad data needs to be deleted. Flow delays need adjustments, some data points need to be smoothed/averaged, etc etc.
Until you learn the ins and outs you would not know the difference. But data is dirty, its just reality, no getting around it. Sometimes I can physically see bad data, but more often it is something you have to learn to command a more in depth software to do. It's not something you do by hand or with basic canned software.
Sure, its easy to get "an answer". Question is is that answer accurate, or are you giving up as much as your gaining? I can take data and quickly give you an answer. It might look really good. But when i clean that same data and then build the rx and compare the 2, its 10-20% better. Often that is the difference between a positive roi and not hardly worth the effort. | |
