WC Mn/Dakotas | To me climate is good for carrying some of your data with you on an ipad. This years data mainly. Good for crop scouting.
Helps run deltaforce and smartfirmers.
In multiple combine or planter operations, it will "speak" to each machine. Helps a 2020 equipped machine gather more accurate data. Owner can see that machines are functioning and collecting data instantly.
It provides a backup version of data IF the primary data from the monitor is lost.
It does not use accurate or cleaned data for reports. Therefore the reports can not be accurate, scripts are off, etc etc.
Scripts are nothing I would ever encourage a grower at any level of precision ag experience to use. Very limited ability to create an rx with very little details. They leave alot of the equipments abilities on the shelf so to speak.
If it's free I would use it. If you have deltaforce you need to use it. No it is not worth anywhere near $1k unless your a very large grower. | |
