N.W. Ohio | Like everyone else is saying ... I have a 05 (LLY engine block) and shes got 300k on her.. Shes same as yours except they figured out their injector problem and made them easier to get to.
the 01-04 (LB7 duramaxes) the reason why the injector cost so much is because they are under the valve covers. More labor extensive so the job is more of a PITA.
05 is when they put them on outside and hell I can change one of mine out in literally 1 hr by myself.
Also like others said the 5 speed can take a little more hp but not much. I have been modding mine and got a +90hp tune on it and when I am Wide open throttle from 4th to 5th shes goes into limp mode and I have to pull over and cycle the key..
and I lose the race lol keep her around stock hp and tranny will serve you very good long time.
