Cultivate, then spray. I’d try to give weeds you just ding, but don’t kill a full day to right themselves. Other reason I’d go in this order is sprayers can usually get over taller corn if need be. Cultivators can’t.

We sidedress nh3, then spray. It’s sure not row cultivating, but we do like to put the post pass on after disturbing the ground.

Edit: that said, if weeds will be too tall by the time the sprayer will roll, then I’d forget cultivating all together.
