Chilliwack BC | Not that brand, but some neighbors put in similar stalls. They found that smaller first lactation heifers would turn around in them. When they added a barn a few years later, they went with regular steel stall loops.
When they put the “angled plastic gas pipe” stalls in they did half that and half the barn steel loops so it was a neat comparison. I noticed that more cows were lying in the plastic ones, but they said the number of animals that turned around in them didn’t justify it. I would want to visit a farm that has them before buying them (any stalls, not just this brand). | |
