East central Iowa | Billboard company is bunch of thieving lying bastards. Have one on home farm since the 60's. They make the southern barn painters look like saints. Their contracts are so one sided it is crazy. If you threaten with a shot gun they tend to listen better.
The lease will only be able to be cancelled in one 30 day period prior to it's renewal time. Leases go with land no matter who owns land. Our lease was $400 per year when I bought farm from my dad. After 3 years and many phone calls and face to face meetings I got a new contract for $2400/year. McDonalds pays $5000 per month for sign so don't believe the can't afford the rent.
Did I mention it's like working with the mafia?
