I wired a couple coffee cans together (maybe 3) and cut one end at a slant to match the live trap door when closed to catch a skunk. I think I had trouble shaking the skunk out after shooting him, though, so maybe a piece of pvc would be better. Had a long rope on the trap to pull the skunk a ways away, but a coon pulled it in and made hair extensions out of it.
