South Central MN | I've caught a few in live traps, used a piece of AG Bag plastic as a shield to cover it with, then took it to a full 55 gallon barrel and put it in door first. Just make sure the trap can be fully submerged, I double checked before using it. They might give off a little whiff but so far not a full blast of spray, so the smell didn't last long. Best is if the trap has a solid door and can be approached from that direction, even less likely to spray.
Most cats will only be caught once in a live trap, even without being given a bath. Have had a certain stupid one get caught 3 times though, but that one met its end under a vehicle tire one day. | |
