That's a few things to try, will work on that. Have tried shooting with shotgun, rifle, break their backbone, in the head, blast them apart with high-power. Always seem to spray.

Have lost 5 or 6 chickens, all the ones that don't use the roost. Have motion lighting in the coop and 2 goats right now. Cats are also in the coop. Dog does a pretty good job of barking also. Wiped out the coons last year.

Have had good luck with wild animals really since they are back in the trees. Just couldn't think how to use a livetrap as getting all the cats locked up and keeping the feral tomcats out wasn't working without getting rid of some.

If bananas and marshmallow don't work I'll try other methods, but not the golden malrin mentioned as that would be an off label useage of a very handy legal product
