When I was a kid (I'm 60 years old now) my Dad bought a old Fairbanks and Morris chain saw from his Uncle who had found the saw in a dump. He overpaid him by giving him a $1. My Dad put a new spark plug in it and it ran. IF you were lucky enough to get the heavy beast started before your arms fell off from pulling the starter rope so much, it would never start again after it ran out of gas and was hot so you had better complete the cutting job on the first tank of fuel. For a young fellow, it was better than weight lifting to build muscles.
