A couple years ago I was travelling northbound on I-57 up closer to Chicago. It was on a Sunday @ 0900 or so. Suddenly I noticed a motorcycle (turned out to be crotch rocket) approaching me on my side (northbound lanes)  at high speed. He/she was in left hand lane & passed me fast southbound.

I called 911 but they got PO'd at me because I couldn't tell them exactly what location I was at. I tried to tell them where the motorcycle was by now, but they didn't care about that. I told them to forget it & hung up.

After more research later, I found out this is an initiation practice for Chicago motorcycle clubs. I cannot imagine what would've happened to us if I had been pulling out to pass a car at the wrong moment.

So, I was "seeing motorcycles". I just didn't like what I saw.
