I think you'll be fine, in the end paying legitimate pp claims will be cheaper for federal crop insurance, than late planted beans, corn in less than ideal conditions. Dan pointed this out that FSA pp and insurance pp are different. The bar is higher for FSA to accept pp claims but that won't affect your insurance claim.
