BigNorsk - 6/11/2019 06:47 So You are saying camping where you drive up to the site but no electric hookups? What do you mean by affordable? I would think one of the small rv generators would work. Probably $500 to $1000. They are pretty quiet but not silent but then cpaps aren’t silent either. Deep cycle marine batteries would be another option. Important thing to know is if your cpap requires sine wave power or not. My Delco jumper pack has both 110 and 12volt plug ins but I have no idea what your run time would be. I know all of the "well what's your health worth?" and "if you want to sleep you gotta pay" arguments, and they mean nothing. A 40 hour blue collar cant always just blow money like farmers can. <--- facetious humor) So 500 bucks is ridiculous. I've seen some at the mid 200s, but nothing with many reviews etc. I think if one can come up with something for a 100 dollars, it would sure help a lot of people out. But all I have to go on is what I google. I dont have a machine to try experimenting with. I just figured someone here may have found a good solution to what I think is a problem, but may not be to those that never go camping. |
