ND

ndcorngrower - 6/7/2019 18:14 Cropping plans changed in the middle of the season. I have some soybean seed that will need to be kept over until next year. It is Registered NON GMO ND Benson I am on the hook for 900 bushels that I prepaid for back in January. I either forfeit my 25% down payment to the original seller or take delivery and try to keep the germination in condition over the winter of 2019-2020 so I can try to sell them in the spring of 2020. In a perfect world we would dump them and plant fresh 2019 production for 2020 but there were not many of them grown in the state.

Forfeit the 25%, sorry but that is easily what you will lose or more.

That should not be much, less than $5.00.  Don't pick it up.  He will have to sell it over the scale.

Soybean seed loses much in germ. if carried over, that is why seed companies never carry seed over.
