I'm kinda agreeing on this. I've gone through this on a 60 ft wide pole building. Long story short it was goung to take 4 1.5x24 inch lvls. For a 24ft header in the sidewall An 18foot span would only take 2. The span factor is an exponential multiplier in the beam size.
