| Be careful with your end bearing supports- note how floor trusses are designed and doubles at the ends and note how the number of studs required to support headers increases with the span. I won’t attempt to run the numbers here but would guess you approach some material limitations at your support connections and need some major support reinforcement at the bearing connection to handle the shear loads. I am not as concerned with the middle sag/support and admire you willing to try this. Fully glued webs and sheeting will be a big help keeping everything together and carrying the lods. I would have increased the height of the truss box though because that is your biggest bang for buck as height increases your support capability exponentially. | |
