By the time you are done you’ll have the same money or close wrapped up as a 2388 minus sale of 1680. Not to mention a conglomeration that will be all yours until scrap time. 2388s can be had for $20k, $15k even if you keep your eyes open, resulting in nicer cab, much better hydraulics, brakes!, power, bigger sieves, and all the other running changes that added up greatly each year.
About the only positive is you can say you did it, maybe
