Hazelton, Kansas 6.75 miles N of Crowbar | I'm sure you can do it but having started with a 1440 progressing to 1660, 1680, 1688 and now several 2388s . I have to wonder why? The hydraulics on a 1688 are so much better than the 1680 and the 23s are even better. The AC on the old 1680 works better than the 23s. If you want the multifunction handle of a 21/23 in your 1680 that can be/has been done a lot. Do a search here. Unless you can find a free cab in excellent shape and your time is worth nothing I would just upgrade combines. I used to like to do those type projects when I was younger but now not so much.
