| I think I have 7 of them that would be fine if I could repair that wire.
The pins are molded into the case it seems so pulling the pins and re-crimping does not look to be an option.
I guess my plan is to:
1. Pull the actuator out and try to prop it up a few inches above the housing
2. Taken a sharp knife and carefully cut the clear wrap off the two wires
3. Strip the black wire back some
4. Try to solder it onto the pin
5. Wrap the two wires in electrical tape
6. Put the actuator back in the case
7. Put the case back together
8. Hope it holds
Any tips for making it go smooth? I don't solder much. Best solder? Best solder size? What would the right heat level be on this job?
