Brome makes outstanding horse hay and has a longer quality window than timothy. It is easy to get and keep a pure stand. We used to sell a lot of horse hay. Now our cows eat big rounds of brome (: Make a 45 pound bale, it's easier for them to handle. And stand firm on your price, if they can't afford it, they don't have very good horses.
Best choice for horse hay?
