We sell a lot of hay for horses. Blends sell well. HLR orchardgrass, a little ryegrass, enough timothy to put some heads in a bale will work. I like some alfalfa in the mix, because the animals like to eat it, and it produces better in the summer, but some people only want a grass mix.
Best choice for horse hay?
