If it keeps cool and raining, none of this is going to matter for my operation. It'll be record PP acres for me at least. As already stated, this "trade aid" will be priced out of our hands before we can even get anything in the ground. I personally will not plant any corn past the 5th of June. I also will not plant any soybeans past the 10th of June. Too much risk with hail, August drought, bugs, diseases, equipment breakdowns etc....To me, 2019 will just be remembered as a bad experience. Hopefully 2020 is better!
