NE SD | just off the top of my head i divided 182 million projected planting acres by 16 billion which was a number thrown around a couple days ago. I should added wheat acres to that and read the announcement a bit closer then divided by 14.5 billion so pmt per acre is less than i was origionally thinking but still incentivizes me to hold out a few more days beyond the final PP date and plant some additional acres of corn...same with soy. Maybe some guys will plant sorghum or some other crop but my point was its the opposite of what they said it would be. It IS and incentive that seems to have the potential to add corn and or soybean acres. | |
