EC SoDak | How’d you turn out for rain yesterday? I feel like I lucked out on this one, only getting 6/10”. 1.75” since Friday.
Coming weather and govt policy will definitely dictate what we plan to do. Does one PP or roll the dice and plant corn based on price or beans via gov’t policy. The decision was a lot easier when corn was .40 cheaper when we knew we had an issue starting on our hands.
Out of caution, that we responsibly need to keep in the back of our minds. The following picture was either a 91 or 94 day corn planted after Memorial Day weekend last year in a mud hole that dried up enough to plant. (Wetter this year than last of course, I understand that) But some corn can still be good:
