Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Speaking from experience, my answer is if there is a separate case drain (often a third small line) you must run it to a no pressure return point. The ports marked case drain do this. For testing I have seen where this third line is uncapped and just stuck into the hydraulic filler neck. The volume of oil is not that great but it does need a zero pressure return point. Capping it off or teeing it into a regular return port is not a good idea. BTDT. |
