Oklahoma | Price at our local elevator this morning was $3.98. 50 bushel wheat is $199 an acre. With no dock. By the time I pay someone to combine it I'm losing. I own all my hay equipment. I'll just let the cows make a turd out of it.
On the question about hay quality. Yes it is better to cut it before it's fully headed but that's in a perfect world. I get that done 2 out of 10 yrs. Have feed thousands of bales that were headed out. | |
