Subject: RE: Door County, WI

Al Johnson’s swedish restaurant in sister bay is kind of neat. Kind of a 70’s feel to it. It has a grass roof that goats graze on. They are not out in the heat of the day though. Lots of bed and breakfast type lodging in door county. Last summer in one day my family and I left Southeast Wi early AM, did horseback riding with the kids in central door county, a picnic lunch and hike in penisula state park. In the afternoon we went to Cana island lighthouse on the Lake Michigan side, drove up to sister bay and had fish fry at Al Johnson’s, then cruised down the west side and stayed in Green Bay at a hotel and the kids had time to go swimming before bed. In one day. So you can do lots in a short time or take a more leisurely approach and spend more time there. There are wineries, roadside cherry stands and such depending on the season.
