NE WI
antler - 4/30/2019 Stumbled across Door County bakery outside Sister Bay and it was very good. Be prepared to stand in line for a few minutes.

And bring a sack full of cash for that place. Don’t have to believe me. Just stop in and ask what the price is for a loaf of Corsica bread. O_O

Al Johnson’s isn’t bad for breakfast. Stonehenge is reasonable to eat at.

Donnie’s Glidden Lodge is a very good place to eat at. It’s on the lake side right on the shore. Make a reservation 2 weeks in advance and don’t be late. They have early bird specials. Soup and salad bar with the meal.

Just because the calendar says it’s July doesn’t mean you don’t need to bring a light jacket. East wind off the iceberg (Lake Michigan) will drop the temp by 10 degrees on the lake side. If it’s too hot in Egg Harbor it will be perfect in Bailey’s Harbor.

Visit the Ridges Sanctuary. It’s a neat area with the old shorelines and unique ecosystem.

The grape vines outside of the wineries are there for show. Juice comes from California in totes. The only wines that might be local are cherry.

Breweries are hit an miss up there. Some of that beer brewed up there is best poured over your shoulder and just get a spotted cow or a bud light.
