If you farmed through the turn of the past decade and we’re not devastated by complete crop failure, you should be in pretty good shape now still.

The short term future looks scary, but you should not be carrying any deep scars at this point, or your problems are on you (or a local bad weather/ calamity).

Illinois Family Farms, McM, Stamp, they all went down and out when we were at our peak of good times, if you were along on their type of plan to get rid of your wealth as fast as you could when we were having good times, well you need to look in the mirror then, it’s not the Ag market that made those scars!

My sympathies to those who suffered some very bad crop years or other stuff beyond control at that time, and perhaps that includes you.
