| No matter if you're a Trump supporter or not don't ignore the obvious in front of you! 1) More grain was being purchased from us by foreign countries prior to the tariffs. 2) Upsetting a solid customer is never a good thing, especially when they have options to purchase elsewhere. 3) They may return in time, however it will take years to gain their trust again and get back to the sales we once had. (What percentage of the U.S. farmers, or for that matter any business could afford to lose money, or break even at best, waiting for this to happen?) But yet all you hear is how good the U.S. economy is doing. I'm afraid fellas, we are a forgotten group as far as the rest of the country is concerned. | |
