A John Deere iTC can do 5hz and send generic NMEA via serial cable. You can make your own harness or buy one from Ag Express. Plenty of used ones available for not a of money....not sure what your definition of "cheap" is.
There is the issue of the yellow and green color that may not appeal to everyone....but a krylon overhaul could take care of that if it bugs you that much.
