To be honest I think it might be kinda dull for ‘the masses’ but I think they are doing good and I enjoy the picture of rural life they are portraying.


I agree, it’s a fine line they have to walk to get authentic, but exciting enough for the masses.

I hope they don’t follow the path Ice Road Truckers took, which was to hype up and fake everything all hour long. On the other hand, if they find reasonable ways to add some interest while remaining true to farming, that is a good deal.


If it goes down that route I will no longer be associated with it. I don’t want my family name associated with something like that. I think that’s the downfall with a lot of reality shows with multiple seasons. They get away from the actual JOB and focus on drama with a lot of it manufactured.
