So JP nosey AgTalker here , when are you taking the short side ? You mentioned vertical move. I have heard people call a market Parabolic when it makes a sharp up move. Was this hog move up Parabolic ?

Yes. It was parabolic. Horizontal price action tends to lead to parabolic moves because of that diverging of price's dimensions. Thats' why the risk is huge in the grain market regardless of direction - "horizontal into parabolic".
No clue on when or even if I will go short. Gotta have an entry that makes sense, a stop that fits my risk profile, and a target that offers a decent risk- reward. Without those, its no trade no matter what.
