I understand your train of though, JC (mr. market). I can see the 6"+ of snow out my window right now...but does the market care? Right now, it doesn't and quite honestly it had shown last fall already that there were problems in the grains. The hard part is to interpret it.
Like Tara coined the phrase years ago that I haven't forgotten, "it isn't an event, it's a process." Probably more true than even he or I realize. There's a process ongoing and it needs to finish before the reaction can occur, IMHO.
