Had to replace all the rotted off posts on a morton building with perma columns a year ago. these were the good creasote posts that were 40 years old. Was not a fun job to clean out barn and do.
No way will I ever put wood in the ground again, even if I dont think I'll be around to have to worry about it in 40 years. Someone will have to replace those posts.
