I have ran coulter machines, coulter machines with closing wheels, coulter machines with knifes, Y-Drops on a sprayer, Y-Drops on a FAST bar, lightweight Y-Drops on a 120' boom and single drops on a 120'. I have ran side by sides on as many combinations as possible, maybe not every combination but most.


All I can say is spend as little money as you can, keep it simple, and don't listen to the experts or anyone trying to sell you something.


Today for what it's worth I run Y-Drops on a FAST bar in conjunction with light weigh homemade Y-drops on a 120' sprayer, and single drops late season.
