I dribble on 30" centers. Been doing it for a decade. Dad retired the ammonia bar after he saw the results. I originally did a pre pass with N, early dribble and late dribble. Ending up finding the early wasn't paying for the time. Corn on corn being the exception.

Running something with the N to help hold it is a good thing.

* edit... I'm not a believer in the y drops.
