Subject: RE: Water Pressure

The guys saying to add another tank at your house have it right. However..........the tank will only fill as fast as the water can come to it. So if you're needing to water your lawn or something similar your pressure will be short lived. But for most in house uses like showering, flushing, dishes, laundry, etc. it will solve your problem. If the water is coming in at something like 2 gpm in 20 minutes it will fill your 40 gallon tank. Most house uses will be much less than that so instant discharge out of your new home tank which will race like the rabbit to quickly satisfy those uses at a much higher gpm rate and pressure. Then your feed line from across the road would be like the slow turtle in the race going back to steadily filling that tank again.
