The only difference in a 20/40, 30/50, and 40/60 square D switch is the setting. By cranking down on the large center locknut, you accomplish the same thing.
To the OP. Where's the pressure tank now? Across the road, or at the house? If it's at the house, make it bigger. If it's across the road at the well, and you have a tight line going under the road, install another large tank at the house. Would probably want a check valve on the incoming line, so the house tank doesn't just feed back to the well tank during the low point of the cycle. |
