East Central Nebraska | water is everywhere, incredible. Knew it was coming, just hard to fathom. There is a massive amount of water headed for the Missouri River. Every creek, stream, ditch gully is overflowing around me. Neighbors field has water over his terraces and the basins are flowing, it just can't drain away fast enough. Temp was in the mid to high 50's yesterday and really the first day above freezing for several months. We have a couple feet of snow on the ground and add several inches of rain that helped melt stuff real quick. Still have a little snow left in the fields, and mostly drifts and snow piles left and pretty good frost depth too yet. | |
