southern MN | You own the interior of your living space, but you continue to rent the exterior shell of the building. A very odd mash up of both owning and renting. Situations like this point out the pitfalls of it.
You can totally control the inside walls because you own them, but you can’t and don’t have to do anything with the outside of the building, the lawn, snow removal, etc.
Has it’s good points, but it has always seemed odd to me.
We are getting our own water here in our state, certainly nothing like Nebraska and surrounding, but lots of water over roads, and a blizzard left over up in the NW of the state as well.
It all has to go somewhere.
