Central KS | Even if we don't get the 1-2" of rain they are calling for this week, and it turns off hot and windy, we still wouldn't be able to spray wheat ground for at least a month. If you believe in fog days April will be wet as well. Have never seen it this soggy this time of year. What options could a guy use for wheat herbicide applied late(between joint and flag leaf stage)?
Typically run Finesse and MCPE, and have had great luck with it. Have also used Rave, but like Finesse better. Finesse is labled till flag leaf, but will not kill actively growing weeds without the MCPE. Quelex is labled till flag leaf, but has no residual.
Any other cheaper options out there that have some residual that will kill actively growing weeds that could be applied after jointing? TIA | |
