We where using NH3 preplant at that time so all we where after in the spring was weed control and it seemed to work fine , did not have any compacted tracks in the field where the wheat wanted to die early. Actually did it for several years. Finally quit using NH3 and eventually changed to topdressing for better yields. I am gettng tired of this yearlly too wet too dry topdressing time issue and would like to do something different in the future.
