NE CO | If you had some growth last fall, maybe you can get by without spraying. Last two years I've had good stands and after scouting decided to forgo the spray operation in the spring. One year a few scattered weeds at harvest and the other year as clean as neighbors who had sprayed, Remember in the past we never sprayed and made it work.
Edit: For fertility I usually spread urea in early spring. With your water thats going to be an issue too.
