SE Nebraska, Near Misery and Cans Ass!

precisefarmer - 3/10/2019 20:27 I think the bigger concern will be wether or not you get adequate moisture before the corn roots reach that band of ammonia. I have applied 200lbs of NH3 in the fall at an angle, had a fairly dry winter, no major precipitation in the spring and the corn plants that were in the NH3 band had severe root burn.

Last year on the two fields we could run an angle on you could see the knife tracks all year a s greener, earlier tasseling, corn. As one posters byline says "Your results may vary".  This fall in some wheat behind beans we could still see the knife tracks from NH3  applied for corn 22 months previously. You could also see the one plugged knife.
