$5.33/lb is expensive for pumped boneless pork loin.


Whole boneless loin quite regularly is on sale for $1.79-$1.99 around here. Chops off of our own hogs from the local butcher (not pumped full of brine) are 10x better eating.


While I don’t agree with it, pork loin has become a low value cut. All kind of stuff off of a hog that I wouldn’t eat sells for more $’s/lb than pork loin does.
