E.Central MN | See cheaper prices for pork here locally, especially boneless chops. I like bone-in chops but they cost a lot more. Not sure what is going on in the meat counter, stores are changing processors more often especially with pork. Are they paying the stores for the shelf space in a bidding war?
Actually its not that more land being converted (to houses) is pressuring beef, its that beef has trouble competing with corn and beans for land use. Good land costs too much to raise cattle on it. | |
