Is it the Orientation Lock, so the screen doesn’t rotate as you rotate the iPad?

Paul

Thanks Paul, that was it. I asked Siri where to find it. She didn't know, I guess it's called Rotation Lock. Anyway if you drag down from the upper right corner of the screen, control settings appear. One is a picture of the padlock. If the icon is black then the screen will Rotate for you so the text is always readable.

If you engage the lock, it turns red and the screen orientation will be locked at whatever it was prior to locking it. The little padlock icon also shows in the upper right corner of most screens. This means you could lock it in any of the four rotations. For example I can lock mine so the home key is on the left with the screen the long way or just turn it that way and let it rotate on its own.

It has nothing to do with processing an update. This does not seem to work the same way on my iPhone but that's fine.

I suspect you are still fighting snow as well. My great nephew needed to get some beans to Fairmont that he had sold for February. We finally got the auger unfrozen yesterday. He has a friend hauling them. He just left with load number four of five so I think he might make it yet in February. It has not been a good month to try to make deliveries. I don't know if CHS gives any slack on deliveries due to bad weather. They are very strict in other areas.
