Yes it works good and is easy. Only one bowl that needs cleaning. Be sure and use a tall enough bowl it doesn't boil over. I use a Corningware bowl about six inches diameter that is about 3 inches tall.
I do real oatmeal in the microwave as well. However, I work out in the morning and eat the eggs as an on the go to get to work. I have tried to think of a way to eat oatmeal but no access to a microwave until I get to work and it is a 45 minute drive so I am starving after a workout. I do eat oatmeal on weekends.
